Samos Festivals and Events
Many festivals and cultural events are organized on the island of Samos, especially in the summer months. These festivals, which have their roots in fairs and feasts, are usually celebrated as religious and historical events and anniversaries. Fairs, which are generally organized with the initiative of cultural associations in Samos, contribute to the preservation of customs and traditions, and are a kind of entertainment for both local people and visitors to the region. Music concerts, theater performances, scientific meetings and various cultural events are organized during the festivals.
SAMOS MOVIE NIGHTS
A series of film screenings called “Gaggou Movie Nights” is organized by the Samos Cinema Club between July 20-27. Seven days filled with cinema, music, literature and 80s music. And all this, next to the sea, on the best beach in the city of Samos and one of the most beautiful on the island. An experience you will never forget. Entrance is free. There is also a bar for snacks and drinks in the area.

ARETİ KETİME CONCERT
Ormos Marathokampos Cultural Association “Agios Nikolaos” is holding Areti Ketime concert in the garden of Kentouris soup factory in Ormos Marathokampos on Saturday, July 22, with the sponsorship of the Municipality of Western Samos. Areti Ketime will take the audience on a musical journey in Greece, Asia Minor, the Aegean and the Mediterranean, as well as the Balkans.
