Samos Festivals and Events
Many festivals and cultural events are organized on the island of Samos, especially in the summer months. These festivals, which have their roots in fairs and feasts, are usually celebrated as religious and historical events and anniversaries. Fairs, which are generally organized with the initiative of cultural associations in Samos, contribute to the preservation of customs and traditions, and are a kind of entertainment for both local people and visitors to the region. Music concerts, theater performances, scientific meetings and various cultural events are organized during the festivals.
